Biggin Hill International Air Fair 2008 competition Biggin Hill, 7/8 June A celebration of the 90th anniversary of the formation of the Royal Air Force, the show will be featuring a number of famous aircraft notably Vickers Vimy, Lancaster, Spitfire, Hurricane, Typhoon, Tornado F3 & GR4, Chinook and the mighty Avro Vulcan V-bomber from the years of the Cold War. The modern Royal Air Force will present their Role Demonstration that includes many of their frontline aircraft and will be brought to life with some of the largest pyrotechnic displays seen in the UK. Overseas visitors will include the Breitling Jet team make a welcome return this year from their base in France, now as a seven-ship formation flying the L-39 Albatros jet trainer. The French theme is continued with the oldest flying aircraft in the world the Bleriot XI and the Mirage 2000 jet of the French Air Force. A first appearance in the UK is planned for the nine Red jets of the Indian Air Force National Display Team, Surya Kiran. the ground exhibition, the Motoring Village will feature fourteen stands
with Porsche, Toyota. Lexus, Vauxhall, Ferrari and Lamborghini cars all
on display Motor cycling interests are covered by Harley Davidson. The
